Three Charged In Connection With Augusta CVS Robbery Appear In Court
Three people arrested in connection with robbing the CVS Pharmacy in Augusta on Monday made their initial appearances in court this afternoon.32-year-old Michael Pierce was charged with two counts of robbery and was ordered to be held on $50,000 bail. He’s charged with stealing oxycontin from two CVS locations in Augusta, one of those thefts occurred back in May. Pierce faces 20 years in prison if he’s convicted on both charges.31-year-old Jeffrey Hodgkins is charged with one count of robbery. His bail is set at $25,000. He faces a maximum 10 years in prison if convicted.30-year-old Jennifer Dowling of Augusta is charged with illegal possession of prescription medication, and her bail is set at $2,000. Pierce and Hodgkins are charged in connection with an oxycontin theft from the CVS on Capitol Street in Augusta Monday.Jennifer Dowling was arrested during a search of Pierce’s home.
