Penobscot Valley Softball Knocks Off Defending Champ In Class D Regional Final 

The defending state champs from Deer-Isle Stonington trying to take home another trophy this year, taking on Penobscot Valley.The bounces going the way of the Howlers early. She had the Deer-Isle Stonington batters fooled all night. The Howlers knock off the defending state champions, 3-0 the final. Penobscot Valley takes home the Class D Eastern Maine softball title. The Howlers will play Richmond in the state final.
