Bangor Woman Accused of Killing Husband Transferred to Psychiatric Hospital 

A woman from Bangor accused of killing her husband has been transferred to a psychiatric hospital and a judge will now decide if she’s mentally fit to stand trial.Roxanne Jeskey, 48, was arrested last June and charged with murder for the death of Richard Jeskey,53.Court documents say Jeskey admitted to attacking her husband with pliers, a box cutter and a plastic baseball bat.The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office tells TV5 Jeskey has been moved from the jail to Riverview Psychiatric Hospital in Augusta. Her next court appearance later this month is a competency hearing. That’s when a judge will determine if Jeskey can understand the trial process and assist in her own defense.Police say Jeskey told them she attacked her husband after he was on the phone with an ex-girlfriend.
