Teddy Bears Become Unlikely Patients at St. Joseph Hospital 

The hospital can be a scary place for children but the staff at saint joseph hospital in bangor are hoping to change that.As part of hospital week, st. joe’s hosted a special teddy bear clinic.The students of the All Saints Catholic School were invited to learn about the different ways patients are treated.All kinds of stuffed animals from lobsters, sea horses and rabbits were treated for different injuries while the students learned about bandages and x-rays.”We had them bring in their stuffed animals, their special ones to them and they concoct these wild stories and have great imagination for injuries their stuffed animals have had,” said Bethany McKnight with the hospital.The kids also got a lesson in agriculture by planting seeds.
