Blood Test On Woman Who Caused 6-Car Crash Shows No Alcohol Or Drugs 

Waterville Police have released the results of blood tests done on a woman they believe caused a six vehicle crash last month.Deputy police Chief Charles Rumsey said 42-year-old Nancy Hazard of Waterville had no alcohol or illegal drugs in her system at the time of the accident. Rumsey also said any prescription medications found in her system were within normal limits.Back on March 18, Hazard was traveling at a high rate of speed on College Avenue when her SUV smashed into several other vehicles at a stop light in downtown Waterville. Four people were hospitalized, some with serious injuries.Rumsey said they are still waiting for an accident reconstruction report, prepared by the members of the Kennebec County Sheriff’s Office, to be approved by the State Police. Once that happens Waterville Police will meet with the District Attorney to determine if charges will be filed against Hazard.
