Students Prepare for Maine Wind Blade Challenge 

High school students across the state are delving into the world of alternative energy by competing in the Maine Wind Blade Challenge.The students design the wind blades, which are then manufactured with the help of a company or school.The winning team receives an internship at the University of Maine if they choose to attend.It brings science, technology, engineering and math into the hands of high school students.”A lot of boat builders are looking for students that are ready to start working either out of high school or out of college,” said Sylvie Boisvert with the Maine Wind Blade Challenge.The Maine Wind Blade Challenge is on Friday, April 27th at the University of Maine.
