Republican Candidate Forum Held at the Sea Dog in Bangor

The Bangor Republican Committee hosted an evening with Maine’s republican candidates at the Sea Dog in Bangor Wednesday night.Republican candidates running for the U.S. Senate, as well as the U.S. and Maine House of Representatives were there.The candidates gathered to talk to voters about their background on why they feel they should be elected.They each spoke indivdually about how they would improve Maine and what they planned on working on if they won the position they are running for.The candidates running for U.S. Senate that spoke were Rick Bennett, Scott D’Amboise, Deb Plowman, State Treasurer Bruce Poliquin, and Maine Attorney General Bill Schneider.. The candidates running for the House of Representatives (Dist. 2) at the forum were Sen. Kevin Raye and Blaine Richardson. Candidates running for the Maine House of Representatives were Mary Budd and Rep. Doug Damon.
