Memorial for Student Killed in Crash 

Saint Joseph’s College has canceled afternoon classes and athletic contests so students can attend a memorial service in Bangor for a varsity basketball player who died in a weekend car crash.The Bangor Daily News reports that a public service for Clark Noonan is scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday at Bangor Baptist Church. Visiting hours are 4 p.m. to -6 p.m. at the church.The 20-year-old Bangor native was a sophomore business major and basketball player who died early Saturday morning when the car he was a passenger in went off the road not far from the school’s Standish campus and rolled over several times.Three other people in the car, including the driver, survived.Police say speed was a factor but have not filed any charges.
