Updated 2 years ago

A local horse rescue organization is making sure their horses get properly vaccinated. The Last Stop Horse Rescue is a non-profit organization that helps starved, neglected or abused horses. They work with the state and help rehabilitate the horses until they are healthy enough to be adopted. They were at Tractor Supply in Bangor trying to raise money for the spring vaccinations, which costs about $30 a horse.” Right now we vaccinate against rabies, Triple E and the eastern and western flu. It’s a very good time to do the shots in the spring before all the viruses come out,” said Nona Jenkins of Last Stop Horse Rescue. If you missed them this weekend and their miniature horses, they will be back at Tractor Supply in Bangor next weekend too.
