$250K Bail for Hudson Man Arrested in Bath Salts Raid

A man from Hudson arrested after drug agents say they found almost 200-thousand dollars worth of bath salts is being held on a quarter-million dollars bail. 27-year-old Ryan Orton is facing charges of drug trafficking and illegal possession of firearms. He made his first court appearance Friday.Agents say they raided his house Wednesday night and found bath salts, pot and weapons. They say they’ve been tracking Orton since last fall after he allegedly bought bath salts from China. Orton’s girlfiriend, 20-year-old Alyssa Farrington of Hudson, and 29-year-old Kristy Harris of Bangor were also arrested in the raid.Agents say they found bath salts, mushrooms and other drugs in a storage locker in Newburgh belonging to Farrington.We’re told they discovered more than 300 oxycodone pills at Harris’s house. A judge set bail for Harris at $15,000. Farrington is out of jail on $750 bail. We’re told more arrests are likely.
