A tractor-trailer hit a car Tuesday afternoon on I-95 in Hampden.Police say workers with the Department of Transportation were patching up the road, causing it to get dusty. Traffic slowed down because of the dust, but the tractor-trailer driver didn’t stop in time. The truck has a bent bumper, the car was towed away. “Considering it was an 80,000 pound truck that hit it, they made out quite well. The truck must have been almost stopped before he hit it,” said Trooper Forrest Simpson with Maine State Police. No one was hurt and no charges will be filed.
