Augusta Pharmacy Robbed

Police are on the lookout for two men who allegedly robbed a Rite Aid in Augusta Monday.According to police the men entered the North Belfast Avenue Rite Aid shortly before 7:30 p.m. passed an employee a note stating the men were armed, and demanding prescription drugs.Police said that after getting an unknown amount of prescription drugs, the men fled the store, headed south across the parking lotThe first man is described as white, 5 feet 11 inches tall and wearing a black jacket with a hood, winter cap and dark sunglasses. The second man was a younger white man, 5 feet 8 inches tall and wearing jeans and a dark-colored sweatshirt.Both were described as having very thin builds.A State Police k9 unit was in the area to track the men, but it did not yield any results.Anyone with information about the incident can call Augusta Police at 626-2370.
