Too Much Damage to Determine What Sparked Deadly Corinth Fire

Updated 3 years ago

We might never know what caused a deadly fire in Corinth on Friday. Officials with the State Fire Marshal’s Office say there’s too much damage to the camper trailer to determine what sparked the fire. Christian Rand, 7, was alone in the camper when the fire broke out around 9:30 Friday morning. Fire investigators say the only source of heat was electric heaters, connected by extension cords to a nearby house, where the boy’s grandparents live. We’re told no charges will be filed against Christian’s parents.
