Warden Service Searching for Missing Snowmobiler

The Maine Warden Service is searching for a Mariaville man who didn’t return from a snowmobile trip Friday.49-year old Matthew Divello left his home Friday afternoon at 12:30 PM. The snowmobile is a 2003 Black Arctic Cat. Divello is wearing a black helmet, black winter jacket, and black snowmobile pants. The Warden Service says it is bringing in resources on Saturday such as airboats, hovercraft, snowmobiles and a dive team to aid in the search if needed.The Maine Forest service says its helicopter was dispatched early Saturday morning flying low level around Graham lake in hopes of finding Divello. On Friday night, the Mariaville and Waltham Fire Department aided game wardens in the search. A lifeflight helicopter also assisted.Anyone with information about Divello’s whereabouts is being asked to call Maine State Police in Orono at 866-2121.
