UMaine Continues To Struggle At Home Against Hartford

At home, the Black Bear mens team looking to get their swagger back after losing three straight games.Second half, UMaine down seven. Justin Edwards takes it down the court himself and gets the floater to go, no foul called, cutting the Hawks lead to 27-22.Down the other end, Hartford goes down low to Mark Nwakamma and he hits the baseline jumper, one of three Hawks in double-figures in points.A couple minutes later, it’s the senior Gerald McLemore who drives through the lane and gets one to go. Only four points on the night though for number 32.After that, the Black Bears went cold and Hartford warmed up. Genesis Maciel drains the three putting Hartford up 12. The Hawks would go on to win it, 63-49 the final. UMaine now falls to 8-9 overall, 2-4 in America East.
