Epic 5K Runners Start Off New Year On The Right Foot

If I asked anyone what the number one New Year’s resolution is every year, I think alot of people would agree in saying exercising and losing weight. After the holiday feasts, i can’t blame anyone for trying to make that commitment. This morning in downtown Bangor, a big turnout of runners battling the rain in the 6th annual Epic 5K Finale road race.I was pretty surprised not to see Tim and Jim out there on the course. Some were out there to begin their New Years resolution, but many were out because they just love to run. This was the biggest turnout ever for the race, even with the wet weather. All the proceeds going to local charities, so it was for a great cause too. The director of the race and owner of Epic Sports, Brad Ryder, says resolution or not, it was great to see so many people turn out.
