Ayla Reynold’s Case Now A Criminal Investigation

It’s been two weeks since 20 month old Ayla Reynolds went missing.Now a devastating turn in the case.Waterville Police Chief Joseph Massey says the department now believes that foul play occurred in connection with Ayla’s disappearance.Now that the case has moved from the search for a missing child to a criminal investigation, the Maine State Police will take overThe Waterville Police Department will still help out as State Police try and find Ayla.Friday, members of the State Police Forensic Team were in and out of the house wearing gloves and boots and at one point they removed a paper bag from the house.As for the $30,000 reward that was offered up earlier this week, Chief Massey says the offer still stands for anyone with information that will lead to Ayla.If you have any information about this case, you’re asked to call Maine State Police at 624-7076.
