Bangor City Clerk Says Goodbye

A Bangor official is saying goodbye after seven years of service to the city.City clerk, Patti Dubois, is leaving that job to become Waterville’s city clerk.She tells us she’s been commuting from the Waterville area to Bangor every day for work and the new job will be easier on her family.While excited about what lies ahead, she says it won’t be easy to leave the Bangor community.”It’s been a fantastic opportunity here in Bangor. I’ve really enjoyed it. The council has been really supportive, the staff in administration has also been very supportive. There’s been nothing but positive here really, so it’s bittersweet in leaving.” Her last day is Friday.The deputy city clerk will step in until a permanent replacement is found.
