Hope Elephants Tour 

We’ve been keeping you updated on Rosie the elephant.Dr. Jim Laurita has built a care and rehabilitation facility for the 42-year old retired circus elephant near his home in Hope.Rosie is suffering from a painful injury to leg.Dr. Laurita hopes to bring Rosie to maine early next year, and eventually another elephant.On Tuesday, December 27th, he’s giving a behind-the-scenes look at the facility.The event starts at 3 p.m.Hope Elephants is located at 51 Hatchet Mountain Road in Hope.
