Police Find 31 Underage Drinkers at Lincoln Camp Party 

Lincoln police say more than 30 teenagers were caught drinking at a party over the weekend.According to Police Chief Bill Lawrence, most of them were Bangor High School students.Police went to a camp near Little Narrows Pond Sunday morning. They say they found some teens sleeping in running vehicles outside.An ambulance was called so the teens could be checked for alcohol poisoning and hypothermia.31 teens were issued summonses for underage drinking and their parents were called to pick them up.Bangor Superintendent Betsy Webb says the school is conducting its own investigation. She says many of the students are involved in extra-curricular activities including sports.We’re told a school department policy states a first time offender could be suspended from those activities for up to two weeks.
