Theatre Company Brings “A Christmas Carol” to Life in Bangor

A theatre company presented a special gift to the Bangor Library.They performed a dramatic reading of Charles Dickens’ classic, A Christmas Carol.Actors from the Ten Bucks Theatre performed the play in front of an audience in the children’s room of the library.The dramatic reading is part of the library’s continual programming for all readers.Jessica Atherton says it’s the perfect play for the holiday season.”It really gets you into the spirit of things, not only are there spirits in the story but it reminds everybody that Christmas is not about things, it’s about people,” she said.To learn more about the Ten Bucks Theatre, visit their website at tenbuckstheatre.org.
