Two Suspects Arrested In Robbery Of Caribou Rite Aid

Two people are behind bars, accused of robbing a Rite Aid in Caribou on Sunday.Police say 30 year old Shayne Ellis of Limestone and 24 year old Amy Geroux of Bangor, made off with thousands of dollars worth of prescription painkillers, liquor, and jewelery.Authorities say the pair filled a cart with merchandise, then Ellis told the pharmacist he was armed and demanded Oxycotin. The suspects fled the store, but were caught within a matter of minutes.Geroux and Ellis both face charges of armed robbery, theft of scheduled drugs, and aggravated criminal mischief.Both suspects are being held at the Aroostock County Jail, where bail has been set at $2500 dollars cash for Ellis and a $1,000 cash for Geroux.
