Arundel Man Dead After Truck Falls from Snowmobile Bridge in St. Albans

Just before eleven Friday night the Somerset County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a single vehicle accident on the Cyrs Siding Road in St. Albans, which is a camp road.Police say it appears 84-year-old Roland Drew of Arundel drifted too close to the edge of the snowmobile bridge, which caused the bridge to break. They say the truck fell about fifteen feet, landing on its drivers side in the brook.Officials say it looks like Drew attempted to exit the truck when it was falling because he was pinned between the door and truck, when the truck came to rest.Drew was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident is still under investigation.
