Salvation Army Extends Deadline for Angel Tree Program 

The Salvation Army is extending the deadline for families to register for its Angel Tree Program.Families will now have until December 6th to register.Captain Tim Clark says about two hundred families have registered so far but they feel there are many more who have not.The Angel Tree Program provides toys and clothing for children in need.It helps children from birth through age 17.”We understand we’ve had families who have come to us who almost seemed a little nervous about asking for help and we want them to know we’re available,” he said.Registration is by appointment only.You can contact the Salvation Army at 941-2990.
