Driver Traveling Too Fast in Snow Causes Orland Crash 

We’re told a driver traveling too fast in snowy conditions caused an accident in Orland Wednesday afternoon.According to the Hancock County Sheriff’s Department, the driver of a Chevy Cavalier lost control along Route 1 heading from Bucksport to Ellsworth. The car swerved into the other lane hitting a flat bed tow truck.Both vehicles were totaled.”It’s a good reminder that we need to go slow, be more cautious, plan ahead, take our time, have patience when driving,” said Deputy Sheriff Luke Gross.All three people in the Chevy were transported to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries. The driver of the truck wasn’t hurt.
