The City of Bangor is looking for a new fire chief. Chief Jeffrey Cammack plans to retire from the position effective in February. He’s been Bangor’s fire chief for the last 15 years and has been with the department for 32 years. “Chief Cammack has been a leader through many challenging times in the Fire Department, and has provided a consistently strong presence in navigating many changes,” said City Manager Catherine Conlow. “The City of Bangor is truly grateful for Chief Cammack’s many years of service, and we are extremely proud of the professional fire department that he leaves in his wake.”We’re told the search will soon begin for Cammack’s replacement.
