Halloween Armed Robbery in Farmington

Authorities say three men have been arrested in connection with a Halloween crime spree that included an armed home invasion.Police say three masked men knocked on the door of Farmington home Monday night. The couple who lived there thought the knock was from trick-or-treaters. Instead, the suspects armed with knives and guns forced their way into the home. They allegedly stole $1,600 in cash, jewelry and prescription painkillers. Two suspects drove the husband to an ATM to withdraw money, while his wife was held at gunpoint.Police say they arrested Kevin Crandall, Marcus Thompson and Michael Kidd in connection with a series of crimes.All three are charged with robbery, kidnapping and criminal threatening.Crandall and Kidd were held without bail. Thompson was held on $30,000 bail.(The Associated Press)
