The high school football playoffs start tomorrow for the Class A teams in Eastern Maine. Bangor has won the regional title the last two years. They aim to get back, but Brunswick is in the way tomorrow. Tim Throckmorton with more. The season began with the Bangor-Brunswick matchup. The Dragons turned the ball over six times and Bangor ended up winning by a point. The rematch is welcomed.”Cause we have a lot of doubters out there who want to give that game as a gift but we think we earned that game.””Big week, need everyone of ya.”They are the 2nd seed behind Lawrence… But this year without stars like Hartley and Seccareccia.”I definitely think inexperienced at the beginning of the season, we’ve grown a lot.””At first I was worried about how good we would be, weren’t one of the favorites underestimated but we came along. This team gets along better than any other team I’ve known.”The bottom line is that post season is the plan.”Its not as much pressure as it is Bangor football expectation. “And hungry to get another chance in Portland.”Being there the last couple of years its not a good feeling coming out empty.”
