Updated 3 years ago

Kids could have some fun at the Bangor Fire Department’s Central Station Saturday. The department held their Fire Prevention and Safety Open House.Kids could get inside the firetrucks, jump around in a bouncy house and much more.Besides fire safety, they were also offering railroad safety tips and car seat safety checks. The firefighters say this is always a fun event for them.” First of all it just lets the public see the firefighters in a different light. We’d much rather meet the public like this than at 2 in the morning with a fire. But also, it’s a good way to pass out good, important messages about fire safety.”The Anah Shrine Clowns were also there. They judged the costume contest.
