Dozens in Bangor Remember Anah Temple Shriner

Dozens of people turned out Friday to remember an Anah Temple Shriner killed in a go-cart crash during a parade earlier this month.The Anah Shrine Center in Bangor hosted a memorial service for 59-year-old Marvin Tarbox, Junior, of Hancock.Tarbox died earlier this month after his go-cart flipped over while he was riding in the Damariscotta Pumpkin Fest in Newcastle.The accident is still under investigation.Tarbox joined the Shriners and the go-cart unit five years ago.Friday more than 150 people remembered him a man who died doing what loved – having fun and helping others.
