Poll Shows Governor LePage’s Numbers are Up

A new poll indicates Governor Paul LePage’s approval ratings are improving.Critical Insights says 47 percent of those polled approve of the job LePage is doing, compared to 31 percent last spring. The amount of people who disapprove has dropped from 54 percent to 40 percent.LePage adviser Brent Littlefield says LePage’s numbers are improving now that people have experienced his leadership on the economy and budget reform, all focused on creating jobs. He says LePage will continue to focus on moving “in the direction of helping, not hindering, job creators.”Critical Insights surveyed 600 likely voters between Oct. 18 and 23.
