No Fireworks For Bangor After City Council Vote 

Fireworks and gazebos were on the minds, and agenda, of Bangor City Councilors Monday night.Earlier this month, they voted to send along a proposed fireworks ban to the planning board.Monday, the councilors passed the proposal to ban the use and sale of fireworks in Bangor.Fireworks become legal in Maine on January 1st, but the new law gives municipalities the option to ban them.The council also passed the order for Parks and Recreations to build a new gazebo at Paul Bunyan Park.
