Ellsworth Man In Jail on Terrorizing, Other Charges

An Ellsworth man is in jail after an incident last night in Hancock.Around 7 p.m., police were told that 23-year old Jherryd Carroll was holding a woman against her will in a home on Washington Junction Road.Police say the woman locked herself in a bathroom and Carroll fired off shots from a .22 handgun outside the home.Police say when they arrived on scene, Carroll came outside and was arrested.He’s charged with criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, reckless conduct with a firearm, criminal restraint, and domestic violence terrorizing.He’s due in court tomorrow.
