A group calling itself Occupy Maine that joined with Wall Street protesters in New York is wrapping up a three-day demonstration in Portland’s Monument Square.About 20 people gathered Monday on the final day of protestsagainst corporate greed and other issues.David Bruenjes, a juggler from Portland, said some havecriticized the protests that are popping up around the country aslacking a clear complaint or objective. He answers that by sayingthere’s “a big mess of reasons” to be angry and that they need tovent their frustrations and anger.Police said about 50 people attended the rain-soaked event this past weekend. Demonstrators were cited for putting up a tent withouta city-issued permit. (AP)
