The third person implicated in a double murder in Rumford in 2009, has been sentenced.Eric Hamel will spend 45 years in prison.Prosectors say Hamel was the triggerman in the killings of Victor Reed Sheldon and Roger Leroy Day Jr.Hamel pleaded guilty to two counts of murder under a deal with prosectors.Hamel’s friend, Richard Moulton was sentenced to 40 years in prison in August.Moulton told investigators that his girlfriend, who was Sheldon’s estranged wife, planned the killings as payback for an alleged assault and because she was afraid Victor would get custody of their kids.gayla sheldon pleaded guilty to conspiracy and criminal solicitation and was sentenced to 15 years in prison…
