MCI to Induct Four New Members to Hall of Fame

Maine Central Institute will induct four new members to its Hall of Fame this fall. Nancy Beverage Hughes was a three sport star in the ’80’s.George Newhouse also played three sports at the school in the 50’s.Julie Treadwell started working at the school as a gym teacher and basketball coach in 1984. She coached basketball at the school for 13 years. She also coached softball and field hockey. Treadwell stopped coaching in 1997 when she became associate head of school and athletic director. in all she spent 26 years at the school.Veteran coach Paul Legge will also be inducted posthumously.
