Bells Will Ring in Honor of Domestic Violence Victims

The domestic violence tragedies in Dexter and Winslow this summer have left the families and friends of victims frustrated. It’s why the Maine Coalition to End Domestic Violence is calling on the state to act.Wednesday, at noon, the organization is asking churches and other community buildings to ring their bells for two minutes. The first minute is to remember all the victims who have lost their lives due to domestic violence. The second minute is a call on the community to respond in hopes that lives can be saved in the future.
