Police Searching for Suspect in Stabbing

A Bangor man stabbed in the head has police asking the public for help.The twenty-six year old victim was taken to Eastern Maine Medical Center, Monday night, and later released. Bangor Police still have a lot of questions, though.Around ten o’clock, they were called to the Ohio and James Street area.They had heard reports of a disorderly group of people.Police say when they arrived the group was talking about a stabbing that had occurred, and told them the suspect was on Ohio Street.Police searched the area and took down several statements.They’re asking anyone with information to call Detective Tim Cotton at Bangor Police at 947-7382.To leave an anonymous message, just press 6 for their tip line.
