Opening Ceremony Kicks Off Senior League World Series at Mansfield Stadium

The Senior League World Series is underway from Mansfield Stadium. It’s the tenth straight year the event has been held in Bangor.Tonight the opening ceremonies kicked off the World Series. Ten teams from all parts of the globe are in Bangor. The defending champs from Aruba are back again this year. Members of the District Three Senior League team to play in the first World Series hosted in Bangor were there to throw out the first pitch.The opening game is tomorrow at noon between the District Three champions from Brewer and the team from Montreal, Canada. The Brewer All-Stars are proud to be only the second team from Brewer to reach the Senior League World Series.Evan Pelkey – Brewer Pitcher“It’s unbelievable.
