US Court: Ex-Drug Prosecutor Will Be Released on Bail 

A former drug prosecutor, convicted on child pornography charges, will be released on bail while he appeals his case.Forty-nine year old James Cameron was sentenced to sixteen years in prison for sending and receiving child pornography between 2006 and 2007.A federal judge in Maine had ordered Cameron to remain in prison while his appeal is pending, but that decision was overturned by the 1st U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.Cameron’s defense attorney says there will be a phone conference Wednesday with the court and prosecution to decide how and when his client’s bail will be set.He said there will most likely be a bail hearing in the near future.Cameron is serving his sentence at a federal prison in Littleton, Colorado.
