Bass Harbor Man Indicted on Eight Charges by Kennebec County Grand Jury

A Bass Harbor man police say crashed a pick up truck into an Augusta home, catching both the home and the truck on fire, has been indicted by a Kennebec County grand jury.26-year-old Jacob Russell has been indicted on eight charges including, arson, burglary of a motor vehicle, and aggravated criminal mischief.Police say in May, Russell crashed his truck into a home on Riverside Drive in Augsta and fled the scene on foot.A short time later in the same area, police say Russell stole a vehicle from the Raven Road.Russell was stopped by police a short time later .Russell has prior convictions for theft, criminal trespassing and drunk driving.
