It didn’t take long for the new bridge in Norridgewock to be hit by vandals. Last week state officials and residents celebrated the opening the bridge.Saturday morning town officials were notified that graffiti had been found spray-painted on the concrete wall of the bridge. Town Manager Michelle Flewelling says the town has seen this type of thing before. “It happens to be an epidemic we seem to have throughout our entire community,” says Flewelling. “From the schools, to the library, to our parks and playgrounds. There’s a lot of vandalism as far as spray painting or tagging so to speak.”Flewelling says they’ve tried cleaning off the grafitti but have had no luck yet.
