Forest Service Battling Fire in Glenburn 

The Maine Forest Service is on battling a wild fire in Glenburn that’s threatening a building, too,Lt. Jeff Currier says the fire was first spotted by a forest service helicopter around 2:30 Friday afternoon off Route 221 and the Pushaw Road. The helicopter was on its way back from another mission. Currier says the helicopter landed for a team to start tackling the flames. It then took off to drop water on the fire. Glenburn, Corinth and Levant firefighters have also been called out to the scene.
