Accused Bank Robber Makes Second Court Appereance

An Augusta man accused of holding up the Penobscot County Federal Credit Union in Bangor appeared before a federal judge this morning.It’s the second court appearance for 32 year old Thaddeus McDonald. He appeared once before via video in June from the Penobscot County Jail.McDonald allegedly robbed the credit union in May. If convicted, he faces up to 20 years behind bars and a fine of up to $250,000.McDonald and his defense attorney had their first meetings last week.Police say McDonald was the second person to rob the downtown branch of the Penobscot County Federal Credit Union in a span of six months.
