Fourth of July festivities will get off to an early start Monday in Brewer with the Annual Kiwanis Club Pancake Breakfast. On Friday, they were getting the Brewer Auditorium ready for Monday’s event. The annual breakfast raises money for a number of children’s charities in the area. Organizers say it’s made possible through donations from local businesses.”We serve pancakes, sausage, we have Dunkin Donuts coffee. We have strawberries from Tate’s and blueberries from Allen’s, milk and juice and the milk donated by Garelick Farms. It’s a great time, great way to start off the festivities,” said Debby Paradis, chairman of the breakfast. The breakfast is Monday from 6-10 AM at the Brewer Auditorium. Tickets are $5 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under.
