Police are investigating a suspicious death in Bangor.Sgt. Paul Kenison told TV5 that police received a 911 hangup call just after 5 o’clock Thursday morning.Kenison said police responded to an apartment building at 96 Fourth Street where they discovered a man’s body. A witness tells us he heard fighting and banging inside one of the apartments, and then looked outside and a body was on the ground. The witness says he then heard two people run down the stairs and drag the body behind the building. The body was taken to Augusta for an autopsy.They hope to have the results as early as Friday.Police say the State Medical Examiner and Attorney General’s office are helping with the investigation.
