Waterville City Council Set To Vote On New Police Station

Tuesday night the Waterville City Council will vote on whether or not to build a new police station. The proposal has been twice voted down but councilor Fred Stubbert says the current police station is too small. The new one would cost about $2.5 million. But Stubbert says using land already owned by the city could cut down the cost.He says the current home of the Morning Sentinel newspaper would be a good spot, if it becomes available. The vote is set for 7:00.We’ll have results tonight on TV-5 news at 10:00 and 11:00.
