Best Chuck Burgers 

Makes 4 burgersIngredients:1 1/4 lbs. ground chuck, from chuck shoulder roast3/4 tsp. kosher salt1/2 tsp. garlic powder1/4 tsp. ground black pepperDirections:Preheat grill on high.In a large bowl spread out the ground chuck. Sprinkle salt, garlic powder and black pepper evenly over meat. Toss lightly to distribute the seasonings.Divide meat mixture into quarters. Using hands carefully form each into a ball and then press lightly into patties about 3/4″ thick. Patties can be made ahead and refrigerated.Turn grill to low, place burgers on grill, cover and cook flipping about halfway through cooking time.Rare – 3 minutes on each sideMedium-rare – 4 minutes on each sideMedium – 5 minutes on the first side and 4 minutes on the second.Well – 5 minutes on each sideServe with buns and toppings.Recipe Submitted by: Cathy Speronis
