Two Men Indicted on Charges of Attacking, Robbing Bangor Man

Two of the three people arrested after a Bangor man told police two of them tried to rob him were indicted Wednesday by a Penobscot County Grand Jury.Matthew Gormely, Jacob Hurd, and Connie Toothaker were arrested last month.Police say a 28-year-old man told them he asked a friend for a ride, and when she picked him up, two other people attacked him.Gormely and Hurd are charged with robbery, assault and attempted theft.Toothaker is charged with violating bail and driving with a suspended license, but has not been indicted.
