Hands-On Learning Helps Husson Nursing Students 

There are some new patients at the Houses School of Nursing.Thanks to a Federal Grant, the school was able to purchase a new family of patient simulators.The equipment was showcased Tuesday to a packed house of healthcare professionals and members of the community.From expectant mothers… to new born babies… these hands on mannequins are designed to help student’s be ready for just about any challenge they may face as they enter the nursing workforce.With the grant money the school received, they were also able to buy a few more learning tools, such as a ECG machine and defibrillator.
